shocker switch
This switch and the receptacle feeding it are energized by an extension cord on the other side of the room. The golf club handles act as insulators, according to the homeowner, to prevent the switch from "accidentally energizing the wall". Maybe the electrical tape around the switch would be sufficient? The client was instructed to have it repaired by a licensed electrician, or install a fire extinguisher directly under the switch. (okay-that part's not true)
