This water tank was part of a routine home inspection. While performing a Home Inspection in Charleston, WV, I happened upon a water tank in the attic. The home had been vacant for one year, and tank had leaked and rotted the support underneath. It was ready to fall through! This couple was grateful to have gotten a professional inspection from a Charleston, WV Home Inspector.
Smoke Alarm Safety

There was a terrible tragedy right here in Charleston, WV that is a prime example. Children and adults died, and the only alarm was mounted under a counter top. A working smoke alarm significantly increases your chances of surviving a deadly home fire.
Do You Really Want the Cheapest Home Inspection?

Chances are, you can find a cheaper house. But probably not better. Home Inspections are no different.
